“To do green well, you’ve got to be green,” says Dean DeSantis, second-generation owner and former Peace Corp volunteer. “Our commitment to sustainability has become the foundation of our company. It goes beyond our commitment to natural landscaping practices and into the day-to-day operations of our business.”
We believe stewardship of the world around us is not only fundamental to our landscape, but fundamental for how we do business. Intentional involvement in our communities, our environment, and the landscaping industry as a whole is at the core of what we do, day in and day out.
Environmental
While composting and recycling have become a staple in today’s more environmentally-conscious climate, we at DeSantis take things a few steps further. Our offices are run with solar energy. We specialize in the creation of bioswales to redirect runoff. The list goes on. The essence of our business is responsibility for the natural surroundings of all our landscapes, and those values are woven into each and every part of our story.
